First week back!

After a rather busy winter break, I am excited to get back into classes and have more time for writing. I’ve been rather neglectful of my creative side, so I feel motivated and inspired going into this semester.

Since my courses are more assignment-heavy compared to the fall, I’ve made a list of all my assignments this semester so I can stay on track. My goal is to stay ahead as much as possible. My busiest class is going to be film-scoring techniques since we have multiple cues and recording sessions to prepare for. On top of that, I’m continuing on in conducting classes and added a counterpoint course. I’m looking forward to a great semester full of challenges, but also full of opportunities. I really have my work cut out for me! 😅

I was able to get a little more organized before the first day of classes. Though the first week has been a bit rough. My schedule hasn’t been solidified yet, and there were a lot of abnormal events happening this week. I just feel a little off my game. But I know once I get into a rhythm and back to a normal sleep schedule, I’ll be back to my go-getter self in no time.
