Lesson Structure
I plan lessons based on a student's interest. Along with the rudimentary material, I will provide assignments and instruction that help my students reach their goals. Concepts of music theory, professionalism, practice techniques, musicianship, and more are included in all lesson instruction.
Required lesson materials are the responsibility of the student/parent. I will provide the lesson and supplementary books. All material should be reimbursed. If you prefer to purchase the books on your own, I can give you a reference and tell you what material I need a student to have.
Lessons are held once a week at the time and duration we decided on. Students are expected to arrive on time and prepared with their assigned practice.
Lessons are currently given in a hybrid format; in person during summer and breaks, and virtual through the Fall and Spring.
