Why You NEED Apple Care

It's finally the end of my first week of classes and it was exhausting. In case you didn’t know, I bought a MacBook Pro (2019) in July for school. So, when I was doing my last-minute packing on Friday night, the laptop was on my list. However, my mom and I decided to uninstall an old security software call Norton since we were no longer paying for the subscription. The uninstalling process had some issues, to say the least, and it led to my Mac crashing every time it rebooted itself. So, after an hour and a half phone call with apple support, we came to the conclusion that I needed to go to the Apple Store as soon as I got to Rochester. I had to drop off my laptop and I was able to get it the next day. The operating software was reinstalled and they wiped my hard drive just in case. My laptop now works perfectly and I got all of my files back and programs reinstalled.
I know this post is not that interesting but I’m going to leave you with some advice:
1. Get Apple Care (It’s worth it. I didn’t pay a thing for repairs or support)
2. BACK UP EVERYTHING
3. The security on Macs is great, you don’t need anything else. But if you do, get Malwarebytes (it’s what support recommended).
Long story short, I’m buying an external hard drive soon.
