UPCOMING PREMIERE!

We are checking things off the to do list. Two big recitals are coming up this weekend, those will be my last for the semester and then it’s off to juries. I have been busy writing final papers and studying for finals. I have 5 finals this semester and 2 demonstrations that I’m procrastinating to do.

I haven’t had a lot of time to compose this week. I’ve been working on finishing my second film project. I also am working on a song piece. It’s in the very beginning stages but I think it will sound nice in the end. It will be very simple.

I have spent most of my time practicing for the concerts/recitals this weekend. In case you haven’t seen my social media this week, I am having my nocturne, or Chopin inspired piece (as I’ve called it here before), premiering this weekend. I am performing the piano arrangement and I am conducting the string quartet arrangement. The orchestra is having a combine concert on Sunday. I’m playing cello in a few pieces. My classmate, Liam Frager, is premiering two pieces with the orchestra and wind symphony. I hope you can see the livestream!
