About

Rita Veneziale is a film composer for film and TV, specializing in animation and drama, blending modern production with classic Hollywood orchestration. She created the lively and comedic score to the animated short WALLY, WILLY, LILLY, winner of Best Student Film at the San Antonio Black International Film Festival. She scored the animated short THE SNOWMAN, a semi-finalist for the Short to the Point Festival, honorable mention at Oniros Film Awards New York, and an official selection at multiple other festivals.
Rita’s credits include the sensitive hybrid score to the psychological thriller PLASTER HEART, directed by Dylan Bowman of Fellowship Studios, screened at the Pottsville Film Festival. She composed a minimal and intimate score for the documentary GOOD NIGHT, SLEEP TIGHT, which explored the ceremonial nature of bedtime stories.
Rita earned her Master’s degree in Contemporary Media/Film Composition from the Eastman School of Music in 2026, following her bachelor’s degree in Music Composition from Nazareth University (2024). She’s currently working out of her home studio in Central Pennsylvania, where she enjoys hiking and kayaking with her fiancé and playing with their cat, Goose.
